Grips are made for almost everything nowadays. There are different materials used for grips. Mostly, it is made of synthetic rubber, although metal and plastics are also used as basic materials.
By definition, grips are those small attachments to the handles of devices. It is usually placed there to enhance one's clasp of the object. It will wear out over time. Check out the substance used. It may be soft enough, but would it also withstand daily use?
Several formulations are added to rubber to achieve softness and toughness at the same time. These tools might cost more, but is worth the price. Be familiar of the stuff the product is made out of with so that you can be guided accordingly.
